Gwynfa finished as top Welsh club in the GB Cup for large clubs. A score of 179 points saw us in 18th, our first time inside the top 30. Our previous finishes in this fairly new event were 30th in 2008 and 32nd in 2009. Of the other WPF clubs Swansea finished in 34th place with 173 points, Tenby were 53rd with 168 and Llanelli were 54th on 166. The top five were: Wigan 10 (232); DAPA Group (217); Smethwick (215); Arden (207) and Cambridge (202). Special mention must go to Bridgend who finished second behind Tamworth in the GB Cup for small clubs. To see the winning images click HERE. Be patient, it’s a big file….
