We’ve received the very sad news that our former friend and member Alan Thomas passed away on the 15th July.
Alan joined Gwynfa around 2006 and you may recall that he used to bring Phil Caston-Forbes to club. His wife Sue tells us that he always looked forward to his Camera Club nights but never quite got back after the Covid restrictions.
Alan & Sue moved to Australia in 2022 to be nearer to family. He had been suffering from Parkinson’s disease in recent times and a visit to hospital for treatment on a fracture resulted in him contracting Norovirus from which he did not recover.
Our thoughts are with Sue and all the family.
