2013 Winter Exhibition Presentations
On Thursday 4th April we presented the Winter Exhibition photographs to the club. All 88 photographs (44 prints and 44 PDIs) were displayed.
Gwynfa is one of the friendliest photography clubs in Wales. We exist to facilitate, encourage & promote the enjoyment of photography in the local community. We are a non-profit making organisation.

Gwynfryn Jones was highest placed print and overall winner of the March monthly competition with his print entitled ‘Autumn Ingredients‘. Highest placed projected.
Gwynfa won the RGB (Rhondda, Gwynfa, Barry) battle last night. It was a lovely evening spent amongst friends and great to see lots.
Congratulations to the eight Gwynfa members who between them achieved a total of 21 acceptances (including one major award and two highly commended.
Steve Littlewood was the top place DPI and overall winner of the February 2013 ‘Curves & Angles’ competition with his DPI entitled ‘Natural.
Bob Beynon won the 2013 Colour Print Challenge with his print entitled ‘Born to Ride’. Second place went to Alec Stewart with ‘Emperor.
The 2013 Gwynfa Winter Exhibition is now open at Garth Olwg Lifelong Learning Centre. It consists of 44 frames prints and 44 digital.
On Friday 1st February, Gwynfa won the Vale 7 Way battle against some stiff opposition. Results: Gwynfa 147 points, Inn Focus 143, Rhondda.
Congratulations to Adrian Lant who was overall winner of the first Monthly competition of the year with his print entitled “1937 Lagonda LG45“..
Gwynfa finished joint 10th in the 2013 Memorial Trophy with 56 points. Our scores were: Lindisfarne Castle after storm by Leigh Woolford (16),.
