The 2023 Gwynfa Photographer of the Year is Alec Stewart with a total of 302 points. One of Alec’s images can be seen.
The 2023 Picture of the Year was won by Gwynfryn Jones with his photo entitled ‘Open Water Swimmer’ (see below). The runner up.
Aside from ‘Photographer of the Year’ and ‘Picture of the Year’ (see separate posts above), the following awards were also presented during our.
The Winners of the Novembber 2023 “Long Exposure” Competititon for the Freespirit Images Shield were as follows: 1st – Leigh Woolford – Ice.
The Winners of the October 2023 Monochrome Challenge for the Colin Williams Trophy were as follows: 1st – Heidi Stewart – The Winter.
The Winners of the October 2023 Open competition were as follows: 1st – Chris Tidman – The Lady Loves to Dance (see below)2nd.
The Winners of the September 2023 Open competition were as follows: 1st – Gwynfryn Jones – Open Water Swimmer (see below)2nd – Leigh.
Gwynfa finished near the top of a tightly fought 2023 Rhondda Open Battle on 26th September. We achieved the same number of points.
