Results of the April 2022 Monthly Competition

Gwynfa is one of the friendliest photography clubs in Wales. We exist to facilitate, encourage & promote the enjoyment of photography in the local community. We are a non-profit making organisation.

The winners of the March 2022 Open competition were as follows: 1st – Dave Owen – One Day Hopefully (see below) 2nd –.
Gwynfa photographers achieved 35 acceptances in the 2022 Welsh Salon of Photography. No less than 7 of those images gained awards. This exceeds.
Gwynfa won the 2022 RGB Battle hosted online by Rhondda CC on the 22nd March. The final scores were: 270 Gwynfa CC 254.
The winners of the February 2022 Open competition were as follows: 1st – Dave Owen – The Joy of Lego (see below) 2nd.
Gwynfa has won the 2022 Ace of Clubs and will be representing the WPF at Warwick in July, all being well. We had.
The winners of the January 2022 Open competition were as follows: 1st – Chris Tidman – Forgotten Gerbera (see below) 2nd – Leigh.
At Sunday’s WPF Memorial Trophy event, 21 Clubs took part and up to 80 members attended the live zoom event. Gwynfa did very.
We’ve received some very sad news. Our fellow member, Alan Davies, passed away on Wednesday 5th January after a very short and sudden.
The 2021 Gwynfa Photographer of the Year is Lynda Beynon with a total of 175 points. One of Lynda’s images can be seen.
