At Sunday’s WPF Memorial Trophy event, 21 Clubs took part and up to 80 members attended the live zoom event. Gwynfa did very well in both the colour and the mono competitions, though our best result was in the colour. We finished 6th in Mono and joint 1st in colour, out of 21 clubs.
The Gwyn Morgan Trophy for Mono PDIs – Gwynfa finished joint sixth. The top places were: Tenby – 73, Rhondda 71, Neath 68, Gwent 67, Afan Nedd, 66, Gwynfa (and 3 other clubs) 66.
The Walter Morgan Trophy for Colour PDIs – Was won jointly by Gwynfa CC & Rhondda CC. The top places were: Gwynfa & Rhondda 77, Bridgend 75 and Cardigan & Cwmbran both on 71. Gwynfryn Jones (Beauty in the Catacombs) and Glenn Porter (Freestyle Kayaking) were both awarded WPF Ribbons for scoring a maximum 20 points.
