GWYNFA WINS THE 2017 VALE 7 WAY PRINT BATTLE

The Vale Camera club once again provided a warm welcome and a very enjoyable evening for the annual 7 Way Battle. It was an excellent result for Gwynfa scoring four 20’s and dropping just 6 points over 8 prints. There were some great images on show from the seven clubs that took part and all expertly judged by Mr Colin Harrison MFIAP, EFIAP/p, FRPS, FIPF, MPAGB, APAGB.

Gwynfa also won awards for Best Mono Print, Jack Tar by Gwynfryn Jones and Best Colour Print, Kingfisher on Fencepost by Alec Stewart. Heidi can be seen accepting the awards for Gwynfryn and Alec and the overall battle shield in the the photographs below.

Thanks to the Gwynfa members who turned up to support the club and of course the selectors Dave Owen, Heidi Stewart and Laura Parker who got it so right once again!

Thanks to Mike Baker of the Vale PC for providing the photographs.
