Very enjoyable afternoon at the Barrian Cup with entries from 27 clubs. Bridgend finished first (95 points) with a great set of prints, Gwynfa second (93 points) and Inn Focus third (92 points). Although Gwynfa finished second it was a very creditable performance with a hard marking, but very competent judge. All Gwynfa’s entries scored well, with Heidi Stewart, once again, scoring a maximum 20 points with “The Storm Chaser” (soon to be retired). As usual Barry camera club were excellent hosts and the day ran very smoothly with a great buffet, but, alas no cup cakes this year.
The Dave Cowdrey Trophy for the best individual Landscape or Seascape print went to Cymru Monochrome with ‘Bad Weather Cwmorthin’. The judge was John Tilsley ARPS, DPAGB, APAGB
