Gwynfa is one of the friendliest photography clubs in Wales. We exist to facilitate, encourage & promote the enjoyment of photography in the local community. We are a non-profit making organisation.

Gwynfa finished second in the 2020 Cwm Rhondda Battle which this year was contested by 25 clubs from all over the UK and.
The winners of the October Open competition were as follows: 1st – Heidi Stewart – On Clachtol Beach (See below) 2nd – Gwynfryn.
The winners of the Monochrome Challenge competition for the Colin Williams Trophy were as follows: 1st – Rob Beynon – Trouble & Strife.
Gwynfa members achieved significant success in the 2020 Welsh Salon of Photography with 29 acceptances and five major awards as can be seen.
Some very sad news, we’ve been informed that our former member, Trevor Clayton, passed away on Wednesday 23rd September. Trevor had been diagnosed.
