The 2010 Barrian Cup took place on Saturday 5th June 2010 and Swansea (with 94 points from a possible 100) came out on top of the thirty clubs who entered. Western Valley were second on 93 and Inn Focus, Llanelli and Thornbury were joint third on 92 points. The John Morgan trophy for the best individual landscape or seascape went to Pat Davies of Backwell for a print entitled ‘Snowed In’.
Gwynfa finished in eighth place on 89 points. Our results were: Frozen Waterfall by Chris Tidman (17 points), Lancia Stratos by Allan Squires (18), Bleak Mid-Winter by Mostyn Davies (16), Lines & Curves, Canary Wharf by Leigh Woolford (18) and Winter Jay by Alec Stewart (20). Congratulations to those who had a print selected to represent the club.
Judge, Terrick Meakin ARPS APAGB BPE3*, did an excellent job of assessing a high standard of work.
