Bring your entries in this evening for the Monochrome Challenge

A Practical Evening – To make the most of this session, you will need to be prepared to sit in front of the lens as well as behind it as we will have fun and games as well as learning loads in creating some competition winning images. Bring hats and coats, scarves and jewellery, broken specs and any other accessories like pipes, cigarettes, walking sticks and canes. But most of all bring your ideas & a sense of fun.

Bring your entries in this evening for the November “BEGINS WITH THE LETTER C” Competition

The idea of this member’s evening is simple – We’d like you to select (up to) three of your photographs that mean a lot to you and then tell us the story behind them? We’d like to hear what makes them so special to you? They can be photographs of anything: family, friends, events, milestones, holidays, competition successes or anything at all. You could even grab a framed print or a canvas off your living room wall.
If you’d like to take part, please email Leigh (leigh.woolford@gwynfa.org.uk) and tell him how many images you’d like to bring and whether they’ll be PDI or print.
There are no sizing or mounting restrictions for either print or PDI. We only need to know if prints will be bigger than our usual size so we can arrange an appropriate method of displaying them!
On the night we’d like you to tell us about them, two or three minutes per image would be ideal. You don’t necessarily have to stand up in front of the club, although it would be easier if you could. Anyone who doesn’t fancy that bit can prepare a script to be read out by our resident voice-over artist, Alec Stewart.
We’re giving you plenty of time to think about the photos and stories you’d like to share. You don’t need to send the images in advance, just bring them on the night.
