Summer Picnic at Forest Farm on Thursday, 11th July 2024 from 6.30pm. We will be in the orchard and pond area behind the Warden Centre. Partners & spouses welcome. How to get there: The address is Forest Farm Country Park, Forest Farm Road, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 7JH and directions can be found here.
See a map of the Forest Farm site here and also see photo below. Number 1 is the car park. Number 4 is where we’re meeting at the end of forest farm road by the farmhouse. The warden centre is the building around the corner of the farmhouse. Parking: there is some limited parking around the buildings. Otherwise, the main carpark on your right before the farmhouse (see pictures below).
Remember to bring the following:
1. Your own food & drink.
2. A portable chair.
3. Your camera gear. Alec will be bringing a few images to talk about and we’ll be able to take some shots around the farmhouse area.
4. A light coat or sweater. It may get a little chilly before we leave.
